March 20 - March 26, 2018

Andrew Porter Mar 26 (2 days ago) to  me Hey guys, Sorry about the late email.  We spent pretty much the whole day moving into the new house.  That is what we did for Pday and then we had to go down to Iquique para sacar plata.(take out money)  So that took some time.  This email will be pretty short so super sorry about that but I am uploading a lot of photos  :) This week well just   Friday   was probably the strangest day I have had yet.  It started off with us packing up a lot of the house and moving it to the front patio.  We got to live out of some plastic bags and our suitcases for like 3 days.  Anyway that same day we were invited to preach in a fairly large Evangelical church which we are probably doing   on Saturday   after the afternoon session.  Also Sarah, the 8 year old girl we baptized made us some dope necklaces and it was pretty cute.  They are just the plastic beads.  I am keeping it but won't wear it because it keep

Hey Guys! It was one interesting week that we have had.  Not that anything particularly weird happened, but I just felt a little different this week.  Probably the biggest change was that we had a bunch of new transfers in the Zone and so with that there was Elder McKinlay that moved in with us.  He is really cool and has about 4 months left in the mission.  Actually, his personality reminds me a lot of Uncle David. So this week we checked out the new house and it is way nice.  So nice in fact that last night ( Sunday ) we decided to take all our blankets and sleep over.  It was on the ground on the fake grass out back but it was a lot of fun even though we didn't do anything other than give our numbers and write in our journals.  It was kind of like camping though because we couldn't use the electricity or water until we move in officially so we brought flashlights.  I slept really well but some others didn't so much. I will remember to take more pictures this week.

Hey Family! Today for Pday we napped and then went to the feria and I also skinnied a tie I found in the Pension.  Sunglasses are good and I look awesome.  We don't have a mamita but we have some very sturdy back up with the mamita de Elder Campos for clothes and Las Americas for food.  We told the RS president and actually need to follow up on that. Transfers came and went.  We are staying together for another 6 weeks and we have some good stuff going.  Elder Campos is leaving even though his comp had 4 cambios here and he only had two.  He is leaving to Antofagasta to finish his mission.  Elder Mckinlay is coming in.  Also we are moving to a new pension and it is probably the most gueco (cool? nice?) in the mission.  We will be moving this week or next.  Not sure yet. So this week was one of straight miracles.  I think it was one of those ways that God lets us know that we are doing good.  Of course your emails helped but I was so happy with how this week went.   We met
