Dec 12-Dec 18, 2017 Week 18

Andrew didn't have time for a group letter this week so here is an excerpts of our family letter and the pics that he sent. Hey Family!!! So I wanted to first write to say that I think I will be calling you guys at home  next Monday  at 530 pm our time.  We have an hour to talk and I am way looking foward to it. News about transfers.......I am staying in Arica for my 4th cambio aqui.  Elder Campos se fue a Alto Hospicio to be a Zone Leader.  My nuevo companero is Elder Wheelwright from Morgan, Utah.  He has a bit of a western accent.  That is right, I got a gringo.  He is way cool for the 4 hours that I have known him.  He is a really obedient dude and I see us performing a lot of miracles in the sector for this cambio. This week was really busy.  We were working pretty hard to find someone to baptize this week but it didn't pan out.  That is alright though, because we were finally able to confirm our investigadora yeste...

Dec 5- Dec 11, 2017 Week 17

We are approaching the final week of the cambio.   Next Monday  I will have a new comp or be in a new area or everything will stay the same.   There is really not any certainty.  We have had a really good week with  the baptism of Jazmin Aguirre and the meeting of some really cool people.   We met with this one lady Maryori (Pronounced marjorie)  Just the Spanish way to pronounce a gringo name. November 27 -December 4, 2017 Week 16

Hello all! First off I want to apologize that there are not more photos this week.  The computer is being a snob and says it cant read the format.  I will try again next week though so stay tuned. Also I completed 5 months in the mission today!  Woohoo!  The time has gone by way fast.  It is almost a quarter of the mission complete.  I have changed a whole lot I feel and learned what my strengths and weaknesses are.  I have also learned, poco por poco, how to overcome them and be better.   We had Christmas Conference this week which was way awesome and included a 6 hour bus ride to Iquique for the day.  That is a very nice city - has a different vibe than Arica.  But to sum up the conference= Awesome.  We reviewed the numbers for the year and as of last Thursday we had 1461 baptisms in the mission this year!  We also watched the mission video which was hilarious.  We also had a few talks given on the reason fo...
