Sorry to always be writing emails that are not terribly detailed.  I have been super tired this past week.  It was really good but crazy.
Got to go on several intercambios this week and I made a goal to try to take a picture on each one but I wasn't super great at remembering so that's what the selfies are.
We were also super blessed to baptize Marleny and her family.  It was a close small service that was one to remember.  It was a miracle to watch because it was just a ton of resistencia with her situation but we saw miracles.
On Sunday night we did a zone attack in one of the sectors that are by the beach so that is that photo.  It was a little overcast and not a lot of gente, but we did contact this really cool Brazilian guy.  We have a Brazilian elder in our zone and we are always trying to talk with him in Portugese.  I am not to good at remembering stuff but it's common to here in the zone Duda bain (All Good) Sorry to all those that speak Portugese because I just slaughtered the spelling on that.
Had a neat week as well in my studies learning about personal revelation.  When we have questions, I know that God can provide answers to help our amigos, personal questions, and anything.  Just gotta ask.  Have a great week!

Hey all,
it has been a very busy and crazy week as always in the MCA.  We started off the week super well as a zone.  Even though a lot of people had left for end of summer vacations this last week, a few started and so we are starting to see more and more people coming back.  We keep working super hard and doing a ton of interviews.  Had the oportunidad to do quite a few intercambios including one with the elders in Tocapilla which is this little town out there about 2 hours away so we had to get up at 6 in the morning to make sure my comp caught the bus. So I got to be here with Elder Stong for a day which was a blast, we found some really good people.
Worked really hard with a family Marleny y vimos some other obstacles so we were not able to do the baptism on Saturday but vamos with everything for Thursday.  Also have a few other families for this week so going to be praying for the miracles.
Here are some photos from the week of our sector, me in our sector and me working hard in the sector. Have a great week!

November 7-November 13, 2017 Week 13

HELLO! This week has been pretty typical like most weeks. Talking, teaching, BAPTIZING!  We did a lot of walking and a lot of talking.  The members have been starting to give us references and that has been helping us so much to find people to teach.  We We had a baptism this weekend of a matrimonio that I first contacted with our ward mission leader 7 weeks ago.  It  was pretty neat to see them come along.  They dont have great financial situation so they have to work a lot (Gregorio works 7 days on and 7 off)  and we couldnçt meet with them all at the same time, but we were able to set a day where they both could be baptized!  It was a good service and my companion Elder Campos even did a special musical number with a guitar. Afterwards we went out to eat a pichanga (mountain of meat and french fries) with our papito (the family who always gives us lunch)  Fue un dia bacan. We are preparing to baptize another investigator named Fabi...

Oct. 3 -Oct. 10 Week 8

Hello Everyone       I have had a great week and I hope it was the same for ya'll.  I completed 3 months in the mission last week and to celebrate I ate a delicious churasco.    Hoy día we went up to the Morro that is here in Arica and that was just fantastic.  It had some great views but I also realized how brown it is here.  There really is a limited amount of green.      I learned a lot about patience this week with myself.  I have noticed that I am still in the beginning of the mission and there is time.  I received a really personal impression from the Spirit during this week and that has given me a lot of comfort and peace.  My testimony of the fact that God knows us and helps us as we strive to develop and learn more has grown so much since coming out.  It isn´t always easy, but when it is easy I get complacent, and that is not why we are here.  We are here to grow and progress!  We ha...

December 24 - 31, 2018

Feliz Navidad! Christmas felt like forever ago, but it was really great.  Ate some turkey, chicken, potatoes, and rice and did some gift exchanges. Shout out to Elder Burton for the sweet shark socks that I will be wearing on  Pday . Also got some candy and cologne, but the best part was just being able to get out and see and visit other people.  We made some brownies and were able to pass those around to some people. So this week was really a different type of week.  We had a really great time at the Christmas conference for missionaries.  The zones from Arica came so we had about 60 missionaries and a lot of fun.  The best part was that the office had asked all the families to make a short video and so while we were all eating our lunch, they showed a reel of a lot of families.  Some were really funny and others more heartfelt.  It was a really cool thing to see my fam up there.  Obviously we also had the Skype call today and tha...
